Date

By Frederik Drost

Window A Date Window is a feature found on many watches which allows the wearer to quickly and easily check the current date. It typically consists of a small window in the watch face, often located at either the 3 o’clock or 6 o’clock position, which displays the current day or date. The display is often a combination of numerals, or the day of the week, and the date of the month. Date Windows can be analog or digital, and may also feature an additional magnifying glass to make the display easier to read.
