Winding Stem

A winding stem is a part of a watch that is used to manually wind the mainspring of the watch in order to power the movement. Generally, it is located on the side of the watch and is used to manually rotate the stem in order to wind the watch. It is a crucial part of a mechanical watch and must be used in order for the watch to keep accurate time.
