Repoussé

By Frederik Drost

Repoussé is a type of metalworking technique used to create intricate designs and patterns on metal surfaces. It involves hammering and pushing the metal from the back side in order to create a raised design on the front side. The process requires much skill and patience, and can be used to create delicate, detailed designs on watches, jewelry, and other metal items. It is often combined with engraving and other techniques to create stunning pieces.
