Quartz Movement

By Frederik Drost

Quartz movement is a type of watch technology that uses a quartz crystal to keep time. The crystal vibrates at a consistent frequency when an electrical current is applied to it, allowing the watch to keep accurate time without the use of a mechanical winding system. Quartz movement watches are often more accurate and require less maintenance than traditional mechanical watches. They are also more resistant to shock and temperature changes, making them ideal for everyday wear.
