Lapis lazuli

By Frederik Drost

Lapis lazuli is a semi-precious stone that has been treasured since antiquity. It is a deep, intense blue color and often has gold or white flecks of pyrite, or “fools gold”, running through it. Lapis lazuli is often used in watches, either as part of the watch face or as a gemstone accent. Watches that feature lapis lazuli give off an air of sophistication and luxury, perfect for any special occasion.
