In-house Movement

By Frederik Drost

In-house movement is a term used to describe watches with movements that have been designed and manufactured entirely within the same watch company. This term is used to differentiate watches that have been designed and manufactured by the same company from ones that have been assembled using parts from different manufacturers. In-house movements are generally considered to be of a higher quality because of the greater level of control and oversight that goes into their production.
