Hourly Time Signal

By Frederik Drost

Hourly Time Signal is a feature of certain watches which emits a sound or vibration at the top of each hour. It is usually used to remind the wearer to check the time and can be useful for those who need to take medication or perform other tasks on a regular basis. The sound or vibration may be loud enough to be heard in a quiet room, or it may be just a subtle reminder. Some watches also have an additional feature which allows the user to set a different hourly time signal for different days of the week.
