Hour Markers

By Frederik Drost

Hour markers are the small markers or numerals found on the face of a watch, used to indicate the hours that have passed. These markers can be either numbers, lines, dots, or a combination of all three. They are often made from materials such as gold, silver, steel, or other metal alloys, and are usually found in a contrasting color from the watch face. Many watches also feature luminous hour markers, which allow the user to easily tell the time in the dark.
