Winder

By Frederik Drost

A watch winder is a device used to keep mechanical watches powered and in good working order when not in use. This is accomplished by gently rotating the watch at regular intervals, mimicking the natural motion of the wearer’s wrist. Winders are typically powered by batteries or an AC adapter and are typically equipped with adjustable settings to accommodate different types and sizes of watches. They are often used by watch collectors and enthusiasts who want to keep their timepieces in optimal condition.
