Spring Bar (or pins)

By Frederik Drost

Spring bars (or pins) are small cylindrical pieces of metal that are used to secure watch straps to a watch case. They can be found at the end of the strap and are held in place by either a spring-loaded mechanism or a friction fit. Spring bars are often used in place of traditional lug bars, as they provide a more secure and reliable fit. They are also easy to remove and replace, making them a popular choice for watchmakers.
